Ankara (Turkey), April 12 (IANS) Egyptian Minister of Sport El Amry Farouk has said they would give full support to Turkey’s 2020 Olympics bid.
Farouk told his Turkish counterpart Suat Kilic that Egypt would provide full support to Turkey’s candidacy to host the 2020 Summer Games. Egypt will also join the Mediterranean Games in Turkey this summer, Xinhua reports.
Kilic, Turkish Minister of Youth and Sports, said the two countries with young people making up most of their population would further develop their relations in sports.

Istanbul is currently competing with Tokyo and Madrid to host the 2020 Olympics. The final vote for the 2020 Games will be made Sep 7.
