Mumbai, April 19 (IANS) Filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee, who recently signed a three-film deal with Yash Raj Films, says that the first movie from the bouquet is already on the roll.
“It’s a co-production deal. The first film has gone on the floors as of now,” he said and added: “It is being shot in Delhi right now. But I can’t talk about anything else.”
Even though, Banerjee will be working with such a big production house, he is assured of the fact that he will not have compromise on his filmmaking ideologies.
“I won’t have to compromise on anything. If my ideas had to be compromised, they would have been till now, now I have become very set with my ideas,” he said.
Known for films like “Khosla Ka Ghosla” and “LSD: Love, Sex Aur Dhokha”, the director is currently looking forward to the release of, “Bombay Talkies”, a bouquet of four films, a tribute to 100 years of Indian cinema.
Apart from Banerjee, Anurag Kashayp, Karan Johar and Zoya Akhtar have contributed to “Bombay Talkies”.
