Los Angeles, April 8 (IANS) Designer Lillian Bostwick Phipps Pulitzer Rousseau, also known as Lilly Pulitzer, died at her residence in Palm Beach, Florida after a brief illness. She was 81.
She died Sunday morning, reports eonline.com.
“Early this morning, Lilly Pulitzer Rousseau passed away peacefully in Palm Beach, surrounded by family and loved ones. Lilly has been a true inspiration to us and we will miss her,” said a message on her Facebook page Sunday.
Pulitzer was called “Queen of Prep” and was famous for her bright, colourful, floral prints.
