New Delhi, April 16 (IANS) The Delhi government has written to the central government, seeking allotment of land for public utility projects at cheaper rates or even for free.
“We have written a letter to the urban development ministry for allotment of land to the Delhi government at cheaper rates or for free for public utility projects like schools and community halls,” Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit told reporters after a cabinet meeting here Tuesday.
“The Delhi government should be given land as such projects take time to complete,” she said.
