New Delhi, April 9 (IANS) At Rs.5 crore, the contract for killing BSP leader and Delhi’s business tycoon Deepak Bhardwaj was one the biggest contract conspiracies in the capital’s history, police said Tuesday.
“The money paid for the murder is the largest amount in the history of contract killing in the capital. This was the first contract murder this year,” a police officer said.
Bhardwaj was shot dead March 26 by two men in his sprawling farmhouse in south Delhi. Six people, including his younger son Nitesh, have been arrested so far for the murder.
