Abu Dhabi, April 4 (IANS/WAM) A delegation of British MPs have paid a special visit to the Saadiyat island off the coast of Abu Dhabi.
The Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC), master developer of tourism, cultural and residential destinations in Abu Dhabi, hosted the eight British MPs.
The delegation visited Saadiyat Accommodation Village, the high-quality modern community that houses construction workers employed on Saadiyat’s developments.
With a capacity to house up to 20,000 workers, the project is designed to international standards with various state-of-the-art social, recreational and educational facilities.
The guests were impressed by accommodation, libraries, gymnasiums and recreational facilities.
Mark Menzies, MP for Fylde, said: “What I saw here I was certainly very impressed with.”
