Sydney, April 3 (IANS) Australia’s trade deficit narrowed to 178 million AU dollars ($186.24 million) in February, according to data released Wednesday by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS).
The result was less than economists’ forecasts of a 1 billion AU dollar deficit, reported Xinhua.
Exports of goods and services rose 3.0 percent to 25,642 million AU dollars in February while imports of goods and services fell 1.0 percent to 25,820 million AU dollars.
