New Delhi, April 9 (IANS) The all-party meeting on land acquisition Tuesday failed to arrive at a consensus forcing the government to fix another meeting on April 18.
“We have some minor differences and have decided to meet again on April 18,” Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath told reporters after the meeting.
He said all parties had been asked to give their suggestions by April 15. These would be circulated on April 16 and the next meeting held after that.
Senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj said her party has handed over a list of 12 suggestions to the government Tuesday.
