Thiruvananthapuram, April 5 (IANS) Askar, brother of actor Ajmal Ameer of “Madambi” fame, is set to make his acting debut with the oddly-titled “Holy Shit”.
The film will be directed by debutant Johnson.
Askar, a businessman, has earlier done short films and also appeared in ad films.
“Holy Shit” is about four youngsters living in Kochi. They come from different backgrounds and go through stress, each for unknown reasons. Later, they find that the main cause of their stress is mobile phones.
They plan to throw away their phones; what happens thereafter forms the remaining plot.

`Parankimala’ to be remade
“Parankimala”, a 1981 hit, is now being remade. The love story will be retold by Sennan Pallassery, the youngest of the Pallassery brothers.
It focuses on the female lead Thanka, who sacrifices her life for her lover. The role was earlier essayed by Soorya. In the remake, newcomer Vinutha Lal will take on the role.
Beyon is the male lead in the film, the shooting for which begins Friday in Thattekad.
Jagadeesh, Indrans and Kalabhhavan Mani will be seen in supporting roles.
Being produced by Vijin and Thomas Kokkat, the film will have music by Afsal. R. Mani Prasad will handle the camera.
