Beijing, April 21 (IANS) A coal mine gas blast killed 18 people and injured 12 in northeast China, authorities said Sunday.
The blast occurred around Saturday afternoon in Jilin province’s Qingxing coal mine when 73 people were working underground. Of them 55 miner had been lifted out to safety, Xinhua reported.
What caused the blast was being investigated till last report.
