Mumbai, March 29 (IANS) He is playing Rishi Kumar for about one-and-a-half-year in “Hitler Didi”, but Sumit Vats says there is no montony on the show as each scene has something new to offer.
“I am not playing the same scene. There is something new to look forward to in every scene… there is something more which you can do,” Sumit told IANS.
“Hitler Didi” features on Zee TV with Rati Pandey playing the title role. Sumit is seen as her husband.
Talking about how he came on board, he said: “I really liked the character. I went through an audition. My character is happy-go-lucky. And I really liked it.”
The 32-year-old Delhi guy, who also featured in “12/24 Karol Bagh” and “Mukti Bandhan”, among others, says people easily relate to television shows.
“I think most of the time, people relate to the time and situation (shown in a TV show). The reactions and body language might be different, but the rest is the same,” he said.
Sumit, also active in theatre, says acting is his passion.
“I have done theatre. I want to perform, it doesn’t matter where I do it. But being an actor, this (acting) is my soul. I want to act,” said the actor who doesn’t have any plans and take things as they come.
“Let me do this first. Then I will see,” he said.
