Delhi: Speaker of Himachal assembly BBL Butail met union law minister Ashwani Kumar and stressed the need for creating awareness about constitutional procedures and practices so that the common man can get optimum benefit from these provisions.
Emphasizing the need of maintaining close coordination between Legislature, Executive and Judiciary for strengthening the democratic institutions, Butail also stressed the need for proper balance and understanding between all the three wings so as each of them works in their own spheres.
Terming it as a courtesy call, the speaker also invited the law minister to visit Himachal. The union minister has accepted the invitation, a spokesman for the Butail stated.
