Chandigarh: In a nearly two-month-old case, the Haryana police have arrested three people who had robbed a bag containing Rs.24,000 and a mobile phone from a man, police said today.
The arrest was made from Ratangarh village on Sonepat-Gohana road in Sonepat district, which is about 220 km from here, late Friday.
According to the police, Pawan Kumar, an employee of Share Micro Finance Limited in Sonepat, was attacked by three accused Oct 15 while he was going to his office after collecting the recovery amount from different villages.
“The accused had fled on a motorcycle. With the help of the face sketches of the accused, the police started their hunt and managed to arrest them. The money and the mobile phone have been recovered from their possession,” said a police official here.
