New Delhi: The Planning Commission is examining a proposal to lay a 216-km railway line between Ghanuali in Punjab and Dehradun via Chandigarh.
Railway Minister P.K. Bansal stated in this in a written statement in the Rajya Sabha.
He said survey for the new line had been completed and that it would cost Rs.3,745 crore.
