Nako is a small Himalayan Village in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. The village is also known for its lake, which forms part of the border of the village.
Other than the monastery there are a lot many Buddhist temples in the village. Located high on a hillside, 3600m above sea level, it receives tourists during the summer months.
