Shimla: Union minister and five time chief minister Virbhadra Singh hit the municipal election campaign trail by holding a public rally at Totu locality, today. The polls are scheduled to be held on May 27, and both Congress and BJP have made it a high stake poll.
Looking for a breakthrough, CPI(M) has turned the election into a multi-cornered one as there are several independents contesting for the mayor’s deputy mayors and councilors posts in the 25 wards of the civic body.

Mr Virbhadra Singh was a four time CM only and that too not always for a full five years term. The fifth term he counts was just for four days as CM in 1998 when Mr Ramesh Dhawala of BJP was abducted and kept in Congress custody for some days.
Let the Hill Post not join his style of propaganda in future…thanks.
