Shimla : The income of the Himachal Pradesh run state civil corporation has gone up by 8 per cent in the last eight months .The income stands at Rs 645.58 crore .
This was stated by the state’s food and civil supplies minister while addresing the board of directors meeting of the company here .
The minister said computerisation of all sale counters of the corporation and e-tendering process will be started soon .
He issued directions to ensure availability of essential food grains in the fair price shops across the hill state .
The state civil supplies corporation is the largest profit making company among a handful of profit making firms as most of the state run companies are undergoing loss year after year .
