New Delhi : It was the coldest Christmas in the capital in the last five years with the minimum temperature Sunday dropping to 2.9 degrees, five notches below average.
According to the Met office, the day will be clear and sunny.
“Fog reduced visibility to 400 metres in the morning,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
Humidity swung between a high and low of 93 and 33 percent. The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 20 degrees.
On Saturday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 20 and 3.3 degrees respectively.
