Shimla : At least five ambulances misusing Shimla’s sealed roads have been penalized heavily by the Himachal Pradesh traffic police , reports said .
Five ambulances were found over speeding on these roads yesterday without permits and had no permits as well , police said .
Rs 15,000 was recovered from these vehicles reports said .
There has been a lot of concern among locals of ambulances misusing Shimla’s sealed roads .
Often these vehicles can be seen speeding away even in the crowded areas like the Mall and the Ridge .
Many times they are not even carrying patients but just casual passengers .
