New Delhi : The Lok Sabha today defeated the adjournment motion moved by BJP leader L.K. Advani by voice vote on the issue of black money and the government’s alleged failure to tackle it.
After a six hour debate the motion to adjourn the house, which would have meant a censure for the government, was put to voice vote.
Most of the MPs in the packed house said no to the motion. The house resumed its normal business after the motion was defeated.
