Windies struggle at 34/2 as bad light forces early close

Kolkata, Nov 15 (IANS) The West Indies were struggling at 34 for two in their first innings against India when bad light forced an early close of play on the second day of the second Test at the Eden Gardens here Tuesday.

Kirk Edwards and Darren Bravo were batting on 12 and four when the umpires called-off days’s play 52 minutes before the scheduled time.

India made a mammoth 631 for seven in their first innings with Rahul Dravid, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and V.V.S.Laxman cracking centuries.
