Dehra Dun : Intelligence agencies have expressed fears that the passing out parade of the Indian Military Academy here, scheduled for Dec 10, could be under threat of ultras. Security has already been beefed and an alert sounded.
Police sources said that following the alert by army intelligence the state police and other agencies are on the look out for two suspicious Kashmiri militants who have slipped into Uttarakhand’s capital here in the garb of selling shawls and other woolen goods.
They said that verification of all the Kashmiris who had come in the recent past to Uttarakhand in general and the city in particular was being done in a bid to identify and locate the ultras.
Sources said that the Premnagar and Panditwari area in particular were being closely watched and a round the clock vigilance being maintained I n the look out for any suspicious-looking characters.
