Gidderbaha (Punjab): Dismissing the political outfit of Manpreet Singh Badal, punjab chief minister Mr Parkash Singh Badal said the upstart party and its chief would realize their mistake after the elections for PPP would be non-existent after that.
Speaking on home ground at a Sangat Darshan program in 8 villages of Gidderbaha assembly where the rival Badals are in contest for claiming supremacy, the senior Badal said that Manpreet would only realize the value of leaving Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD ) after a drubbing in the polls.
Reminding the villagers that the political career of Manpreet had been nurtured by handing over his native constituency, the chief minister said that the people would never forgive such betrayal.
“Elections would prove that the voters do not forgive defectors,†said Prakash Singh Badal.
Pointing out that the opposition without mass leaders who could put up a fight against the BJP-SAD alliance, he said that be it Capt Amarninder Singh, Surgeet Singh Barnala or Manpreet, all were turncoats who had deceived their mother party SAD for their vested interests.
Slamming the congress led UPA government he said that common people were bearing the brunt of inflation due to wrong policies being pursued by the central government.
Hike in prices of petroleum products has been complimented with massive increase in prices of agricultural inputs, severely damaging the economy of farming communities, he said.
The senior Badal let reporters know that the party’s decision about allocation of tickets would only be let known when elections are announced.
