Shimla : A major electricity cut will take place for much of Sunday at almost all places in Shimla and neighbouring areas .
This is being done due to seasonal repair and maintenance work at the HPSEB’s Totu sub-station, officials said .
The power cut will begin at around 10 A.M. and could continue until nightfall in most areas of the state capital .
This will also affect water supply on Sunday and Monday in the town .
Power cuts are very rare in Shimla .
