London : Singer Lady Gaga triumphed at the MTV EMAs in Belfast, Northern Ireland after winning four awards.
The eccentric singer walked away with trophies in four out of the six categories she was nominated for — she won Best Female, Best Song and Best Video awards for “Born This Way”. She also got the Biggest Fan, a brand new award that celebrates artists with the most committed fanbase.
Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars and rock band 30 Seconds to Mars each won two awards. Bieber won Best Male and Best Pop, Jared Leto’s band picked up Best World Stage and Best Alternative and Bruno won awards for Best Push and Best New Artist, reports femalefirst.co.uk
Katy Perry was presented with the award for Best Live Act, while Linkin Park were voted as Best Rock.
Jessie J presented a moving video tribute to the late singer Amy Winehouse.
