New Delhi: With temperatures settling above average, it was yet another sunny and warm day in the capital Sunday. The weatherman said Monday will be similar.
“The maximum temperature was recorded at 26.1 degrees Celsius, one notch above average and the minimum settled three notches above average at 12.7 degrees Celsius,” said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.
The humidity levels wavered between a high of 95 percent and a low of 43 percent.
According to the IMD, a misty morning will be followed by a clear and sunny afternoon Monday. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 27 and 12 degrees, respectively.
According to IMD, the warm temperatures are due to scant snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.
