Shimla : The popular resort town of Shimla and its suburbs were hit by sharp thundershowers Thursday cooling down the hill station.

Office leavers, particularly walkers were caught in the rain.Traffic jams were seen at many places.
Traffic moved at a snail’s pace due to heavy fog and rain.There were frequent power failures in the state capital.Reports of heavy rain have come in from many parts of the state.
The weather man has forecast rain at many places for the next five days in the middle hills of the state.There are also chances of heavy rainfall in isolated places in the next 48 hours.
