Bharmaur : A man allegedly slipped and fell from a cliff into a gorge and died on the spot in the steep mountains of tribal Bharmaur region of Chamba distict , police said Thursday .
The incident took place at Brehi , Desh Raj , 50 , was returning home after the day’s work . He was a daily wager employee of the state forest department .
Villagers immediately reached the place after watching the man fall down the cliff and reported the matter to the police . The matter is being investigated , reports said .
