Shimla : For the conveniance of patients and their attendants undergoing treatment at Chandigarh’s PGI hospital, the Himachal Pradesh government has built Himachal sewa sadan in Sector 25.
The state’s PWD minister Gulab Singh said Thursday the Rs 10.5 crore building will be inugurated soon.It has 23 double bedrooms and a total bed capacity of 153 including 18 dormitories.
The entire building is centrally air-conditioned with canteen facilities to provide food.Accommodation will be available here at nominal rates.
The four storied building has parking facilities in the basement and the courtyard.Lifts have been installed to facilitate patients, the PWD minister said.
