Shimla: About 60 academician vice-chancellors for universities in north Indian are expected to participate in a two day conference here, Himachal Pradesh university officials sad.
The conference is scheduled to be held on 30th September and 1st October, the university spokesman stated.
Latest developments in the higher education are to be deliberated at the conference in which VC from Allahabad and Kashmir are also expected to participate.
HPU vice-chancellor ADN Bajpai disclosed that the conference would provide boost academic, research and extension activities at the university.
Those expected to participate include Prof RC Sobti from Panjab University, Chandigarh, Prof VPS Arora from Kumaun University, Nanital, Dr SS Negi from Forest Research Institute, Dehradun, Prof Abhijit Mukherjee from Thapar University Patiala, Prof MK Mishra University of Lucknow, Dr.Sudha Rani Pandey Uttrakhand Sanskrit University Haridwar, Dr AR Trag from Islamic University of science and technology, Wantipora, Kashmir and Dr Ranbir Singh from National Law University among others.
