Una : Two women snatched a gold chain from the neck of a woman pilgrim at the popular temple town of Chintpuri in Himachal Pradesh’s Una district , police told the Hill Post Thursday .
The incident took place just outside the premises of the temple . As soon as the chain was snatched in the crowded area full of pilgrims the woman cried out for help . Immediately the two culprits were caught by the public and handed over to the police.
Reports said the two chain statchers are from Punjab’s Khanna town and may have targetted the Chintpurni temple on the first day of the popular Navratri festival which attracts pilgrims from all over northern India .
