Dharamsala : The Dalai Lama’s following on twitter has gone up to two million in the last seventeen months,says the Tibetan government in exile website.
The Dalai Lama has left cricket legand Sachin Tendulkar,bollywood mega stars Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan far behind.Followed by spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and and yoga guru Ramdev.
Tibetan refugees say a social networking site like twitter helps the 76 year old Dalai Lama reach out to his followers across the world in a big way.
It also helps him reach out to the Chinese young people and help them understand the Tibetan cause.
The Dalai Lama has been living in India since he fled Tibet in 1959 after a failed coup against the Communist party regime of China.
