Shimla: Having recovered from a brief illness, chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today returned to the state capital from Delhi where he was treated at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
On arrival by helicopter, the chief minister was greeted by cabinet colleagues and senior government officers.
Dhumal was taken ill on June 3 and was admitted to IGMC hospital here. As his condition failed to stabilize, he was airlifted to AIIMS the next day.
Having remaining hospitalized for 5 days, the chief minister was discharged from the hospital on 9th June after doctors conducted a thorough medical examination and declaring him fit.
On discharge from the hospital, to recuperate the chief minister stayed back at Himachal Sadan in Delhi and also held office as well as cleared pending files.
