Shimla: Two residents of Haryana were nabbed onboard a bus bound for Delhi with 1.750 Kgs of contraband Charas, here in the early hours on Tuesday.
Acting on a tip off, police raided a Haryana Roadways bus in the dead of night at 2 p.m. and found the contraband narcotic substance in the possession of Sonu (27) and Rajesh (36) residents of Samalka village under Panipat division.
The bus was on its way from Rampur to Delhi when it was inspected by special investigation unit of CID, a police spokesman said.
The two have been arrested and a case under NDPS Act has been registered, said the spokesman.
