Shimla: Governor Urmila Singh and Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal have expressed grief over the demise of spiritual guru Sathya Sai Baba who passed away at Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday.
Governor Singh said that charitable works of the spiritual guru were exemplary and contributed immensely in the upliftment of the poor and needy.
Dhumal said that Sathya Sai Baba was a source of inspiration to people of all faiths.
Last year, in April, the spiritual guru had visited Shimla and stayed at the five storied temple of the trust at Pujarali on the outskirts of the city.
