Shimla: Chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today visited PGI Chandigarh to enquire about the health of senior leader and former union minister Shanta Kumar who was admitted to the medical institute on Wednesday.
Dhumal enquired about the health of Kumar from him and the physicians attending him at the Institute.
Shanta Kumar, a vice-president of BJP had fallen unconscious at a rally organized by Shiromani Akali Dal at on the occasion of martyrdom day of Bhagat Singh. Doctors treating him had said that he had suffered from dehydration and was out of danger.
Earlier, Kumar had addressed a gathering at Khatkar Kalan – the birthplace of Bhagat Singh, after flying in from Delhi.
