It is sad to hear about the demise of a senior IPS officer of state. He has done a lot of good works during his service career. For details also read: http://in.jagran.yahoo.com/news/local/himachalpradesh/4_11_7490981.html
He also invited some controversies in recent past, which will die down after his leaving the world.
I am shocked to read the Tribune headline which read as “Tainted IPS officer Thind dead” (http://www.tribuneindia.com/2011/20110326/himachal.htm#2).
I fail to understand the plight of such journalist practice which is highly insensitive to mankind and also settling scores at these moments.
A great personality Mr B.S.Thind.The news of his passing away came like a shock. He was a very good human being in fact. Any one calling him a tinted officer should analyse himself. He always wanted to serve people. I met him around 15 days back where we were discussing about the problems of people of H.P.He did not only wanted to serve the people of himachal but he was also concerned about the problems of J & K.The man with golden heart is no more but he will remain in our hearts as an inspiration till we live.May this great man’s soul rest in peace.Thind Sahib we love you and you will always live in our hearts.
