Winter discounts up to 30 % at 57 hotels
Shimla: Starting Monday, Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corp (HPTDC) would be offering a 20 to 30 percent winter discount at 57 hotels located in various parts of the state, top managers disclosed.
By far having one of the largest chain of hotels and restaurants across the hill state, Vineet Kumar, MD HPTDC said the discount on room tariffs would help to attract more tourists through the entire winter.
The discounted tariffs would be there right up to the first week of April, 2011, barring for the Christmas-New Year festive week which will have not any discounts at some popular destinations like Manali, Shimla, Barog, Dharamshala and Kullu, he added.
For the year ender festive season starting from 23 December to 1 January, the corporation would be offering holiday packages also, said Kumar.
The public sector hospitality chain provides for online booking at www.hptdc.nic.in even as it anticipates a packed house for the year ender parties.
