Shimla: Three persons, including the owner of a brand new Maruti car died in an accident today in Jubbal area of Shimla district and one person was admitted to hospital with serious injuries.
Narender Sharma, resident of Sambhad village in Jubbal and owner of the car that had not even been issued a registration number yet, died in accident that occurred near village Dharmana today, said a police spokesman.
Two other persons who died on the spot in the accident were residents of Bihar, while a third occupant, also from Bihar, has been admitted with injuries at the regional hospital Rohru. A case of negligent driving has been registered, said the police spokesman.
