I was on Himachal tour and stayed in Youth Hostel Camp Kasol in June 2010. As I had an urgency, I have purchased railway e-ticket from the above authorized Agent in Kasol near Manikaran from Ambala to Manmad on 03.06.2010{Train No. 2716- Sachkhand Express for date 05.06.2010}. On boarding in the train, T.C. fined me Rs. 710/- as without ticket passenger as it was Tatkal waiting ticket, moreover, I have not got the seat. However, the above agent assured me that I will definitely get the seat and he has charged for that Rs. 1150/- [including his commission]. The above agent had not given me any idea for this situation and thus I was trapped by him.
I immediately contacted to the above agent. He told me that the ticket with PNR No. 2306949929 which I have booked against Tatkal Quota is cancelled and he will refund me the amount of Rs. 1150/- soon. I have informed him many times my bank account number of SBI which is 10551559976 or ICICI a/c no. 002701018053. At the outset, he agreed to refund me the amount, however, he is refusing to do so now.
This is cheating by the above agent. The cell no. of the above agent is 09816594249. He is not ready to refund me the above amount which is legitimate. This shows that there is cheating in Himachal Pradesh.
You are, therefore, requested to investigate the matter and advice the above agent to refund me the same amount and show the proof of the same to you.
