Shimla:Three persons were killed and one seriously injured when the truck they were went off the road, on the Shimla-Rampur highway in the early hours of the morning.
Those who died in the accident included Bipan Kumar, a resident of Durrah village in Kullu, Lok Raj a resident of Nirmand in Kullu and Harish Kumar, son of Rattan Chand and a resident of Hoshiarpur, said a police spokesman.
There were four people travelling in the truck (HP-63-0846) when it met with an accident and fell onto Satluj river bank at Bittal near Rampur (about 100 Kms from here) at about 4 a.m. today, he said.
Jatin Kumar, a resident of Kataua in Jammu was injured and has been admitted to Rampur hospital.
The lorry was ferrying cement when the mishap occurred, the police spokesman said.
