Himachal govt. takes precautionary measures to fight Swine Flu

Shimla: Though no Swine Flu case has been registered in the queen of hills still Himachal Government has taken precautionary measures like providing equipments such as Personal Protective Equipments, N-95 Masks in all district hospitals, revealed Dr. Rajeev Bindal, State Health Minister. He added that Isolation Wards also have been made and arrangements of separate beds for the treatment of Swine Flu patients have been done in Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital, Shimla and all other district hospitals.

Moreover, sufficient amount of Tamiflu tablets are arranged in the State. He also said that testing facilities for Swine Flu would be made available within a week at CRI Kasauli by the Government of India and State Government has urged the Central Government to provide Swine Flu testing facilities at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Medical College and Hospital.
