Shimla: With many BSP workers joining congress party on Friday, state president Thakur Kaul Singh said that contrary to claims made by chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal, he was pinned down in Hamirpur and had requisitioned services of LK Advani and Narinder Modi for poll duty to secure the victory of his son Anurag Thakur from there.
Speaking to the media Kaul Singh said, “the chief minister has been laying claim to be winning all four seats comfortably but the way he has been campaigning in Hamirpur and now deploying heavy-weights LK Advani and Narinder Modi to hold public meeting, he is not even sure of winning on home turf.â€
He said that the party had consolidated its cadres all over the state and were in a position to win the lone seat that BJP holds.
On the occasion about half a dozen important BSP leader which included Hari Dutt from Una, Ram Swaroop from Dharmshala, Onkar Rana from Shahpur announced severing their ties with Mayawati’s party and joining the congress party.

Mr kaul singh is right and i appriciate the fire from his side to highlight mr prem kumar’s intention .this is only to increase the vote bank n secure BJP’s position from their constituency .
No such big investment n development is seen in himachal pradesh .the party is on following traditional methods.
himachal has got good talent ,but the govt is nt initiating to provide them a ground so that the talented ppl can work for their state n can generate revenue for it ,instead of working in someother state n incleasing their wealth ..
all its policies are big faliure .
It is a matter of serious concern that the development in himachal preadesh is not up to the mark if we compare it with other stats or India. There is no sign of further development also even politician are trying to get the most benefits whatever they can get. There are tremendous scope for lot of green industries like wind power, IT industry, tourism, Education. But still it seems next generation would be only able to see the actual development in Himachal. If we compare Himachal development with other states of India we shall come to know there is a lot to do but government is still working on the traditional ways of development, this is the time when we need to lure big companies to invest in Himachal. But this is not happening according to the need. This is the time to raise the voice and coordinate to the development of the state not as the individual.
