Shimla: During ‘Eighth National Meeting of State Commissioners’, a spokesmen of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, revealed that Himachal Pradesh has been ranked as the First State in India to implement the provisions of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of rights and full Participation) Act, 1995.
Raised in Shimla and originally from Mandi district, Disha wears many caps which includes being part of a lead team of a fast growing IT company based out of Chandigarh. Earlier Disha was associated with My Himachal and visits Shimla regularly.
