The IAS Officers’ Association of Himachal Pradesh expressed deep sorrow at the sad demise of B.C. Negi, former Chief Secretary of Himachal Pradesh on 6th January, 2009. B.C. Negi belonged to the 1960 batch of IAS and had a most distinguished career resulting in his appointment as Chief Secretary to the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
They said that Negi was an able administrator and planner who significantly contributed to the development and welfare of the State in various capacities in his career spanning over three decades.
The IAS Officers Association extended its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family at this moment of grief and prayed the Almighty to give peace to the departed soul.
