Shimla: Sidhwari-Kaned-Barwala augmented lift water supply scheme was dedicated by Chief Minister to eleven villages with 70 litres per person per day.
He also laid the foundation stone of 33/11 KV Sub Station at Totarani (Mecleodganj) estimated to cost Rs. 4 crore which is most likely to be completed by early 2010 to solve the low voltage problem of the area. Equipped with modern techniques the sub-station will feed 29 villages of Naddi, Kajlot, Kareri, Bhagsunag, Dharamkot, Forset Ganj and Dharamsala area. He said that a population of 22400 would get directly benefitted with the completion of the Sub Station, with improved power supply.
