Shimla: The ski teams have been selected by the Kargil and Snow Sports Club for the forthcoming National Ice Skating Championship scheduled from January 7th to 10th at Shimla. The teams consist of 48 boy and girls skiers.
Aman Ali Khan General Secretary of the Club said that 44 boys and girls will be set by the Club from Leh to participate in the 6th National Ice Hockey Championship scheduled to be held from 20th to 24th January.
He revealed that the Club has also announced its annual activities Calendar for 2009. The Club in association with Students’ Educational and Cultural Movement of Ladakh will be hosting Girls Ice Hockey and Skating Development camp from January 20th to 5th February.
The Junior National Ice Hockey Development camp will be held in February at Kargil.
