Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bagged three National Level awards for ‘Minimum Operation Cost’, ‘Highest Kilometer Per Litre’ and ‘Improvement in Kilometer Per Litre’ in Hill Service by the Association of State Road Transport Undertaking (ASRTU) under the Union Ministry of Surface Transport for the year 2006-07.
Today, Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal congratulated the HRTC for the awards. Talking over the occasion he said that Corporation has made a herculean task possible of reaching every end of the motorable road and provide people transportation services on time with a smile.
He hoped that the Corporation would maintain its standards and continue with the tradition of winning more such awards in the near future.
Kishan Kapoor, Transport Minister accompanied by Parminder Mathur, Additional Chief Secretary, T.C.Janartha, Managing Director, HRTC and other senior officers of the Corporation were also present to show the trophies to CM.
