BJP government fails to deliver: Kaul Singh

KUMARHATTI: “Not only has the public, the BJP own MLAs were annoyed with Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal led state government. The popularity graph of state government has nose-dived in just 10-month.” This was stated by Mr. Kaul Singh Thakur, the HPCC Chief while addressing a press conference here yesterday.

He said, the coming Parliament poll would reveal the real situation of BJP government. The all four seats in state would be won by the Congress with thumping majority, he maintained.

Coming down heavily on Prof Dhumal for fake assurance, Mr. Thakur said that the CM was claiming to meet 80-percent of its promises with public, but in real he could not even manage to meet 1-percent of his promises.

The BJP government was trying to take credit of development works, launched by Congress government during its regime, he pointed out. The state people were well aware about Congress efforts and BJP could not make fool of them by making false and fake claims, he remarked.

The Giri water scheme has failed to feed water to the areas that were supposed to be covered under the scheme, he blamed. Rs. 5.27-cr and Rs. 2.44-cr water schemes meant for Kasauli and Parwanoo respectively were lying in abandoned conditions. The thousand of villagers of dozen panchayats in Kasauli area have deprived to even construct a single room after Greater Kasauli was formed, he said adding the people were being harassed unnecessary through Town and country Department.
