[lang_en]KUMARHATTI:Â A devastating fire has reduced a mixy manufacturing unit into ashes at Parwanoo, 25-km from here today. The fire was noticed at 9 in the morning when workers of morning shift in B.K. Compliances had just entered the unit premises. The security guards of unit first noticed the fume coming out from the main power plug.
They sounded alarm timely. All workers rushed outside for safety before fires engulfed the entire unit. Though workers were managed to pull out some material out of the unit but most of goods including final products have fallen victim to fire.
The fire tenders form Parwanoo, Pinjore and Baddi were pressed into service to douse the fire. It took over 5 hours to control the fire. No one was injured in the fire. According to police, the investigations were underway to know the exact cause of fire. As per initial investigation the short circuit seemed to be the reason behind fire, said a police officer while terming down the possibility of any foul play behind case.[/lang_en]
